Week 1:
01/04/19- I created a Crazy 8s grid and decided from my doodles as to what I would like to create.
03/04/19- I have received my song back which was written for me (by an old college acquaintance), based on a poem that I had written on 17/03/2019 with backing track.
05/04/19- I have selected 5 songs to look at with a similar pace, tempo, topic or video to what I want to create. I have also begun to look into the lyrics and videos and start to analyse them.
[Easter Holidays- I have completed all research needed on the research section of the project booklet. I have also began writing for my Pitch and Proposal section]
Week 2:
23/04/19- I have added more research to my project to make sure that all areas are covered for the research needed.
24/04/19- I have began writing my proposal and began mapping the layout for my pitch using Google Slides.
25/04/19- I have continued to add to my pitch
26/04/19- I have completed my pitch and presented it to Scott
Week 3:
29/04/19- I have added to my research
30/04/19- I added to my references on my proposal, using the Harvard Layout
01/05/19- I attended a lifestyle and well-being open day at the college, and I learnt more about anxiety and Depression and the options for help that are out there to support those with mental health issues
02/05/19- I edited and improved my rationale
03/05/19- I continued to add to my references on my proposal, and I began my Contingency Plan
Week 4:
09/05/19- I began editing and making my backing track faster with assistance from Vikki Soanes. I also began creating a legal implications form.
10/05/19- I continued to play around with my backing track. I also created a list of songs about a similar topic to my own to select 5 from to explore the structure and presentation of the songs. I also recorded a reflection vlog and created a sketch of what I need to achieve by the end of this topic.
Week 5:
13/05/19- I selected 5 songs from the list, listened to them and created a chart which I recorded all features down from the presentation and structure of the songs.
14/05/19- I explained what I would take from the 5 songs I had listened to previously and how I would use those features to enhance my own backing track and vocals when it comes to eventually recording them.
16/05/19-
17/05/19- I continued to try to crop down the backing track during lessons with Dan Digweed. During blended learning with Scott Hayden, I worked on making improvements to my wordpress blog.
Week 6:
20/05/19- I completed cropping down the backing track to my song and started to come up with ideas for my video.
21/05/19- I created a time plan for the rest of my project up until the 7th June
22/05/19- I completed my video plan for my production
23/05/19- I looked at the lyrics and decided what type of images I would need.
24/05/19- I continued to jot down picture/video ideas
Week 7:
28/05/19- I found some images to put on my video that I knew I couldn’t get myself.
29/05/19- I came into college to record the song.
30/09/19- I tried to record my song again and created my FMP consent forms.
31/05/19- I went out and took pictures and videos of my cousin and the park for my video.
Week 8:
03/06/19- I added some of the pictures and videos to my video on InShot and tried to record my song again.
04/06/19- I completed adding photos and silhouettes that I created using Bazaart from my photography, for the video.
05/06/19- I began adding text to my video.
06/06/19-I completed adding text to my video and adjusted the length of screen time per word and began adding transitions.
07/06/19- I completed the transitions and word placement on the video, recorded the song as a narrated poem, edited the colour of the video using Premier Pro, then uploaded my video to YouTube.
Week 9:
10/06/19- I updated my Progress Journal.
11/06/19- I collected some reviews for my FMP and updated my contingency plan.
12/06/19- I began writing out deeper analysis for the 5 videos I studied in my research, to add to my research essay.
13/06/19- I completed my analysis’, uploaded them and made my evaluation
