For mine and Georgia’s primary research, we created a Google Form regarding the genres of music that people prefer, as well as the types of quizzes they’d like to take (i.e. guess the lyrics), and what they’d expect from an online music quiz. We had 13 responses.

From these results, we can see that 30.8% of voters, preferred Pop music over other genres. Due to this, we have made more questions regarding Pop than we have using Rock and Grime.

From these results, we can see that 53.8% of voters would take a music quiz, and the remaining 46.2% of voters said that they would maybe take the quiz. From this we learnt that music quizzes are a point of interest with people and that they are fairly popular.

From this collection of results, we can see that 46.2% of voters would prefer to fill out a quiz where you need to guess the next lyrics, 38.5% of people said that they would prefer to guess the title of the song and 15.4% of people would prefer to guess the artist. In the end, we created a Quiz where you have to guess the song as our main quiz. If we have spare time, we will also create another quiz for guess the lyrics option.

Here, we decided to get suggestions from people to see what they would like from an online quiz. These were their responses.

From these results, we can see that the voters would like to have a reward system as 92.3% of them voted ‘yes’. We are going to attempt to add in a reward system into our final quiz/quizzes.
