I have learned from my primary research that COMEDY is the favored genre of film out of 10 participants answers. This is important to know because it gives us an idea of the size of the audience who our trailer would appeal to.
I have also learnt that 6/10 people watch films on a regular basis.
From these results, I have learned that the majority of people are persuaded to watch a film because of it’s trailer. This is an important piece of information as it shows us that trailers are extremely important.
From these results, I have learned that a trailer is extremely effective. Most people are persuaded to watch a film by its trailer, others are still persuaded to watch a film because of its trailer, although not every time.
From these results, I have learned that scenery plays a large part in differentiating a good film from a bad one.
These results clearly suggest that backing music is a huge part of a film. It is evident that backing music makes a film better!
From these results, I have learned that 70% of the participants thought that a stalker was a good concept for a horror film; 30% of the participants do not think that having a stalker is a good idea.
